ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
Univision Network News is looking for an experienced Line Producer to support News. This position will be responsible for managing the line production of a daily show, supporting executive producer with production and team management. Editorial contribution is also an essential part of the position.
ABOUT YOU:
+ Responsible for daily rundown, story placement, editorial input and writing.
+ Executing timing of live shows in control room and making last minute decisions.
+ Development and production of daily news graphics.
+ Quick reaction to breaking news and possible show news updates
+ Work on special news coverage and field coordination.
+ Maintain communication with assignment desk, production and technical crews.
+ Must be able to back-time show, adjust rundowns effortlessly while on air
+ Must be available to fill in as Despierta America Line Producer when needed
YOU HAVE:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Journalism or Communications.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience line producing/producing.
+ Knowledge of current events
+ News writing skills
+ Attention to detail, strong communication a must
+ Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
+ Fully bilingual English and Spanish
+ Excellent Spanish grammar
