Student Information Systems and Communication Support

THE ROLEThis role will work closely with the division heads, as well as other admin, to manage all aspects of the Student Information System to ensure the quality of the data. Additionally, this role will serve as support to the Advancement Office by posting web content and being available for fundraising events. This position will serve also as communication support with an emphasis on the school’s tech outlets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWebmaster dutiesWebsite UpdatesWebsite FunctionalityWebsite Push PagesStudent Information SystemManaging all aspects of the Student Information System including, but not limited to, master rollover, student and teacher schedule, attendance, grade plan and grade book, courses, and report cardsTrain new and current employees on the technology that is used within the schoolMonitor and distribute authentication and login access for employees, students, and familiesImplement forms and website content in cooperation with the Advancement Office
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESAcumen for database management systems, preferably school environmentStrong analytical problem-solving skillsAbility to troubleshoot web-hosted technology systemsWriting and editing skillsProven ability to work on multiple projects at a time and meet deadlinesAttention to detailAnalytical organization skillsProject Management
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in appropriate field preferred3+ years of relevant work experienceExperience at an educational institution or non-profit organization is a plusExperience with Blackbaud Financial Edge, Google platforms, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
