QUALIFICATIONS:
(1) Bachelor Degree preferably in communications and/or public relations.
(2) Three (3) or more years of experience with mass communication/public relations.
(3) Computer proficiency and other technology proficiencies such as the use and operation of cameras and media production software (e.g. Adobe: Photoshop or similar software).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Broad knowledge of all county programs and departments. Public speaking skills. Ability to work cooperatively with community agencies and organizations. Good planning and organizational skills. Information gathering skills. Skillfully generate public communication documents (e.g. flyers, brochures, posters, etc.).
