The incumbent will assist in executing the base-level planning, coordination, project implementation and documentation requirements in all areas pertaining to MAX-GUN AFB Cyberspace environment.Work Model: Onsite/Office-BasedResponsibilities

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

Provide status briefings and reports to PM/ISO summarizing project budget and milestone accomplishments at least monthly.Update the Base Blueprint when downward directed from AETC in the Cyberspace Infrastructure Planning Systems (CIPS).Utilize the CIPS endorsement approval process to obtain Wing Commander's endorsement/approval of the PM/ISO recommendation for the base's communication infrastructure-current and out years.Provide Communications Plan (Blueprint) to HQ AETC/SCX, as requested.Maintain network configuration map and/or documents of the network infrastructure and provide a touch look inspection of "as is" network topologies to the AFNetOps reporting channels.Maintain communication closet wiring and network diagrams following the Communications and Information Systems Installation Records (CSIRs) process.Update the ISP Records and Drawings by recording facilities communication features information with informational data from new project additions, modifications, repairs, etc.Update the OSP Records in CVC by recording location, communication features information of communications installation pathways with data from new project additions, modifications, repairs, etc.Use CVC available through the AF Portal at the CIPS website.Provide Network Coordination & Engineering.Assist Cyberspace systems installations, site surveys, inspection, and study teams.Coordinate arrival, in/out briefs, and work schedules. Participate in the MILCON Program (MCP) facility design and minor construction planning meetings.Create and maintain project folders in CIPS.Process new Cyberspace requirements for service in a timely manner according to AF or local policies and procedures.Assist MAX-GUN AFB organizational Functional System Administrator/Customer Service Technician (FSAs/CSTs) and base plans flight in coordinating technical solutions (TSR's, Costing TO's, and CSI) through applicable network areas of responsibility (AORs) (I- NOSC or MCCC).Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Mandatory:

Must have completed training requirements for MS Project or equivalent software training, and CIPS training.Must be able to acquire and maintain a Secret Security clearance.Ability to acquire and maintain government identification/common access card.Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.Valid Alabama state Driver's License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position.Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.U.S. Citizenship.Ability to obtain access to U.S. Government Installations through the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS).Reasonable Accommodation:CGS will provide reasonable accommodations, according to applicable state and federal laws, to all qualified individuals with physical or mental disabilities.
