Analyst, Content Planning & AnalysisBurbank, CA (Hybrid)Contract OpportunityJob DescriptionThe Analyst, Content Planning & Analysis will be responsible for analytically evaluating the investment and performance of the content on the various Streaming platforms and across multiple distribution windows.This role will work on projects involving different content categories/genres and portfolio-level analyses, content engagement, third-party licensing deal valuations, distribution and windowing decisions, and executive-level reporting for leaders.The role will also contribute to the development and application of analytical methodologies and KPI tracking for evaluating the performance of contentConducting analyses of title-level and portfolio content performance (generally using Excel to manipulate and interpret large sets of data)Creating presentations that summarize analyses about title expectations and performance, and insights on portfolio/brand/genre performanceBuilding models to inform deal valuations, greenlight decisions, and windowing strategiesDeveloping and updating title performance forecastsMaintaining standard datasets and presentation materials, such as weekly content categorization and quarterly title rankersSkills and QualificationsMS Office, work in Database - Looker (dept will train) Advanced Excel - work on formulasDemonstrated interest in the entertainment and/or tech industriesCandidate must be highly analytical with superior communication skills and someone who can thrive in a fast-paced and matrixed organizationPossess intellectual curiosity, focus on generating results and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrityHigh aptitude and enthusiasm for complex problem solving utilizing financial modeling and analysis, including highly advanced Excel modeling skillsFamiliarity with statistical concepts and analysisFluency in building visualizations of complex data setsEffective at writing, facilitating, and presenting analyses, and proficient with PowerPoint slide buildingHigh EQ and professional maturity, with demonstrated ability to engage at an executive levelSQL exp a plus
