About the role: As a Senior Manager within our Enterprise UX Team,youll be at the forefront of Targets evolving digital experience, shaping it for our team members and contributing to business growth. Success for this leader requires the ability to understand Targets priorities and partner with a broad set of stakeholders to establish design & experience direction. Day to day youll ensure your team has what they need to thrive and deliver great work. This includes operating routines, insights, research direction, partner awareness, and a collaborative and inclusive culture. Responsibilities: Build trust andpartnerproactivelywith UX, Product, Technology& BusinessStakeholders toset the stage for your team to achieve exceptional outcomes Define research roadmapsandidentifypossible researchopportunities based on key partner priorities and business needs within the Enterprise UX Team Leada balancedteam of researchers and grow the teams ability to balance multiple projects/demands Coach, mentor, and guide a team of individual contributors of various levels, helping them to grow and develop new skills, while increasing trust, transparency, and engagement Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrateresearchprocessesand understandinginto the overall product development lifecycle Maintain high-quality standards for your team throughout theresearchprocess including reviewing the work of theresearchteam, conductingcollaborativesessions, and making sure that the final deliverables meet the established criteria Champion user-centereddata anddesign principles within the organization, promoting and advocating its importance About you: 7 years of experience in UX/digital productresearchwith a strong understanding of the craft Proven experience in a people management role including hiring, leading, and coaching high performing, cross-geographyor remote teams Foundational understanding of digital retail businesses Experience working in large, matrixed,globalor multi-national organizations a plus Demonstrated ability to build relationships and create impact through multiple levels of leadership including other Sr Managers, Directors, and Sr. Directors, and canmaintainboth drive and patience throughout the journey Ability to balance short-term and long-term thinking while raising quality and team performance Proactivelyidentifyand resolve issues that mayblockthe team from meeting strategic, business, or financial goals Strong data-driven visual, verbal, and written story-telling skills with ability to bring partners along Experience successfully managing many stakeholders through all phases of theresearch and product developmentprocess This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as Flex for Your Day) work arrangement based on Targets needs. A Remote work arrangement means the team member worksfull-time from home oran alternatelocation thats not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team members core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
