Definition:

Under direction, performs a variety of coordinative, administrative support, and related activities to support the GRTCs outreach and special event programs; serves as staffing coordinator and coordinates logistics for outreach and special events; educates, informs, and answers questions at community outreach events; designs, creates, and uploads visual and written content to the GRTCs website; performs clerical and office support functions; and performs related work as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Attend community events as a representative of GRTC and become an advocate of our mission and programsEducate the community on GRTCs services and upcoming programsFoster partnerships with community businesses and organizationsAssist in outreach to serve the community by developing and presenting new programs and demonstrations for audiences of diverse ages and learning abilitiesAssists with the development, planning, organizing, and coordinating engaging programs for various age groups.Assists in maintaining supply inventory for all programs or activities.Participates in arranging meetings and recruiting speakers to inform the community about GRTCs program goalsCoordinate, schedule, set-up, and staff information booths and/or presentations at community events.Place orders, stock, and maintain inventory of office supplies, brochures, and publicity materials.Assist with field outreach and operational campaigns including mosquito surveillance campaigns in district neighborhoods.
