Employment Type: Contract/Onsite

Location: Austin, TX

Pay rate: $42- $48/hr, DOE

Responsibilities:

• Capturing parts and tools used in procedures from various products using Capture One 
  software in a stationary tethered camera set up. This includes but is not limited to hero and 
  reference shots of products, accessories or parts at print quality. Creative freedom to shoot 
  part and tools in different ways is encouraged.
• Candidate will be in charge of the daily operation and maintenance of photo, lighting, other related gear and software and functionality of the photo lab. 
• The production workflow will include processing image selects which will be uploaded to a 
  cloud server maintaining strong asset management standards, which will be edited by our 
  photoshop artists
• The candidate will work with the art department lead to identify areas such as color correction 
  and overall style and help implement workflow changes that help the overall quality of our 
  image assets.
• They will collaborate and contribute to the improvement and standardization of 
  part photography for the creation of a style guide.

Requirements:

• Proven professional shooting experience in a corporate environment
• Strong technical photography portfolio
• Proficient with modern photography and lighting equipment
• Solid knowledge of Photoshop, Bridge and Capture One
• Strong dynamic shooting and lighting skills
• Competency in executing photographic best practices and techniques
• Knowledge of the production process for online cloud-based asset management 
• Bachelor's degree in photography degree or related
• 5+ years of project management experience and managing content for high traffic websites
• Experience with content management systems required
• Experience with task management/ticketing system required
• Proficient in writing clear and direct copy
• Organized, articulate, and detail-oriented
• Efficient and reliable
• Comfortable with ambiguity; has a flexible approach to process changes

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with HR programs (including Workday and ServiceNow)
• UX writing experience
