Winthrop Position Title CreatorSpace Graduate Assistant Job Purpose
Operational assistance in the CreatorSpace, an interdisciplinary studio located in G26 Rutledge.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Inventory management, safety supervision, user assistance and training, and other tasks related to the operation of The CreatorSpace.* Operate and maintain the equipment and serve as learning facilitators for students, faculty, and others who utilize the space during lab hours and/or scheduled class visits.* Check in/check out specific pieces of equipment.
Qualifications
Priority given to MFA graduate student with strong organization skills. Applicant should be mature, responsible, dependable, customer-service oriented, and quick learner with technology.
Preferred Skills
Basic knowledge of 3D printers & scanners; high-end video equipment; large-scale printer, sound booth, iMacs, laser cutting machine, etc.
Pay Rate $3500/semester Type of Position Graduate Assistant (salary) Position Level Graduate Hours Per Week 10
