Exemption Status:United States of America (Non-Exempt)Job Description:

Under direct supervision, this role will support faculty members in conducting professional research on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) childhood experiences and trauma. Primary responsibilities to include aiding in research tasks, social media content development, and social media management, along with miscellaneous research tasks.

Assists in conducting research activities, including data analysis, literature reviews, and recruitment into studies, as applicable.Collaborates in developing materials for social media, including infographics, memes, and other content.Provides support in coordinating social media efforts, or other dissemination activities related to research findings, as applicable.Participates in relevant meetings and training sessions to stay informed and contribute effectively to research projects.Collaborates with team members in a collegial and professional manner, adhering to all institutional policies and guidelines.

ADDITIONAL DUTIESPerforms other duties as assigned. Specific duties may vary based on the discipline and project requirements.

EDUCATION

Required:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in the relevant field.

EXPERIENCE

Required:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Proficiency in basic social science research.

Proficiency in developing social media content, including data visualization.

Ability to manage multiple social media accounts, such as Instagram and TikTok

Strong communication skills, both written and oral, for effective collaboration and report writing.

Familiarity with subject-specific practices and protocols (e.g., IRB procedures, statistical analysis, etc.).

Organizational skills to manage tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
