Job Title: Process Mechanical Designer
Job Description
Join our team as a Lead Process Mechanical Engineer working under the guidance of the Department Head on vital wastewater, treatment plants, and environmental projects. You will lead design tasks in wastewater treatment plant design, water treatment design, advanced treatment, and pumping system designs. Projects will range from medium to large scale, where you will be responsible for preparing design calculations, P&IDs, and drawings. Additionally, you will craft specification writings and technical reports for various municipal water and wastewater projects while collaborating with drafters and designers on construction documents.
Hard Skills
+ Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
+ 3-8 years of experience in wastewater design, treatment plant design, pumping system design, or Industrial Design
+ Experience in preparing construction documents including drawings, P&IDs, specifications, control narratives, and technical reports
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MathCAD
+ Management Task Design
+ Lead Design Experience
+ Professional Engineer License perferred
Work Site
This is a fully remote position.
Work Environment
This role is part of a Process Mechanical Group consisting of 75 people, managed by a Group Discipline Leader. The team includes 12 engineers and 4 designers using BIM and CAD. This is a remote opportunity, allowing you to work from anywhere in the USA under the supervision of the Department Head on significant wastewater treatment projects.
