Part Time Academy Music Teacher

Everest Collegiate High School & Academy is seeking qualified candidates for a part time academy music teaching position. Applicants should be highly capable of providing student instruction and managing the classroom environment.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:Prefer current teaching license and/or degree in elementary educationMust meet all requirements established by the Archdiocese of Detroit for employmentMust have a record of fingerprints on file or be fingerprintedMust have completed or be willing to complete Protecting God's Children trainingAbility to work in a collaborative atmosphere with teachers, parents, and studentsAbility to maintain a safe and disciplined learning environment

Qualifications/Requirements:Determination of qualifications will be made as fits the requirements of Everest Collegiate High School & Academy and this position.All teachers in the Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Detroit shall be certified and /or approved for teaching by the Department of Education for the State of Michigan.All teachers are required to hold the appropriate endorsement for the subject(s) they are assigned to teach.
