Digital Marketing Intern – Indianapolis, Indiana
As the Digital Marketing Intern, you will contribute meaningful work and make a direct impact to the Commercial Marketing team. You will gain valuable experience in defining marketing communication programs for our K-12 and Multifamily markets, identifying & curating top performing content to build out promotional campaigns across owned and shared channels, and working cross functionally to implement integrated marketing campaigns for our top brands. Additional opportunities include working with our creative services teams and content creator to collaborate on image design and content review, implementing paid social media marketing ad campaigns on LinkedIn, editing and publishing episodes for your top podcasts, and gain project management skills across multiple teams in the organization.

What You Will Do:
Deepen your understanding of the different marketing communication strategies across email, social media channels, and paid social.
Gain expertise with email design strategies using Marketing Automation Tools and Email Design System (EDS).
Experience with implementation of paid social media content on LinkedIn, including video, GIFs, and static promotional imagery and exposure to budget management for ad promotion.
Utilize tools to execute email automation, social media post publication, engagement analytics, and more, as required by content marketing.
Work with teams to produce a well-rounded marketing campaign, including content and copy development, creative direction, promotional strategy, and reporting.
Participate in daily and other regular team meetings, including field marketing, creative services, internal sales, and marketing leadership.
Exposure to podcast production process, including recording via a virtual studio, sound editing and engineering, publication to podcast hosting tools, and end-to-end promotion of each podcast episode.
Deepen your understanding of integrated marketing strategies across several functions in the PESO (Paid, Earned, Shared, and Owned) marketing initiatives model.
Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion
What You Need to Succeed:
Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline, e.g. Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, Business Management, Communications, or PR.
Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative, e.g. school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, leadership on school or work projects, etc.
At least one class in social media, communications, or marketing research.
Basic marketing and communications understanding.
Ability to work in both a team and individual setting.
Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly.
Effective listening, time management and creative problem-solving techniques
A desire to learn, grow and develop by working on projects that will impact Allegion’s business and customers
