Responsibilities

Contribute to the continuing growth of a highly successful design team.

Collaborate with other designers to ensure consistency across experiences.

Communicate, document, and represent design direction to team members, management and key stakeholders.

Ensure the experience vision is driven by a well-defined nucleus of user needs, tasks, marketing and business requirements.

Work with design, development and program management teams to ensure interaction and visual designs communicate and function successfully for varying technical and performance specifications.

Work with user researchers to coordinate testing efforts, interpret test results, and incorporate results into design efforts.

Effectively communicate with developers through implementation phase to realize design vision.

Exhibit a high level of proficiency with Figma.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in product or service design

OR equivalent experience

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

Knowledge and experience with code, data or analytics.

Experience in designing complex systems.

Experience working within and contributing to a structured

design system, using Figma.

Attention to detail.

Comprehension of technical constraints, user objectives, and business needs.

Collaborative mindset with a design-driven approach to stakeholder engagement.

Organizational skills, with the ability to scope, estimate, and prioritize independently.

Product Design IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
