Description and Requirements

The IDG (Intelligent Devices Group) global Marketing organization is hiring a Director of Digital & Web Marketing, reporting to the Executive Director, IDG Marketing Strategy & Operations.

Lenovo is looking for an experienced marketing leader to advance the Digital & Web Marketing business for the IDG organization. The objective of the Digital & Web Marketing team is to create and deliver a comprehensive digital transformation strategy that addresses the ever-evolving needs of our B2B and B2C customers. This person will work closely, and align with, the Digital Transformation team to establish a digital marketing platform that represents a best-in-class foundation for hyper-personalized and relevant digital experiences.

We are seeking a leader with excellent communications skills who will work collaboratively in a highly matrixed organization and who can navigate successfully a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on accountability and results.

Key Responsibilities

Represent the interests and requirements of the IDG organization to redefine and rebuild the customer web experience through the following critical workstreams:

Definition of a new Visual Identity for the Lenovo.com site

Development of a new Data Architecture model to enable personalized customer experiences.

Streamline content development processes and architecture to deliver content at scale.

Provide best practices for building a best-in-class automated digital platform that optimizes for best customer experience

Understand how to efficiently define operations and processes for streamlining testing, optimization, and web production

Lead initiative to understand the voice of the customer to better inform the types of digital experiences we want to deliver.

Partner with the broader marketing organizations to solidify Lenovo’s positioning as an innovative tech leader across services, solutions, devices and AI through a unique and best in class web experience.

Create partnerships with the PCSD IDG stakeholders to enhance and streamline their digital marketing initiatives by managing and optimizing digital tools, platforms, and processes.

Identify areas for improvement and implement key digital transformation strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Work within a highly matrixed organization to deliver common platforms, tools, and processes capable of addressing the needs of all PCSD stakeholders.

Identify operational objectives to measure and track the progress and impact of transformation initiatives.

Basic Requirements:

10+ years expertise and experience with the design and deployment of digital marketing and web transformation initiatives to support many types of stakeholders and all digital marketing initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Requirements:

Detail-oriented creative problem solver.

Strategic thinker, able to see how processes and technology are intertwined and how the combination of both will deliver a transformative marketing environment.

Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of the business.

Well-built organizational skills able to drive commitments and keep timelines.

Ability to multitask within a faced pace and dynamic workplace.

Demonstrated strong partnership skills with a history of collaborating across organizational boundaries, working with, and influencing others, and creating clarity from confusion. Able to creatively address challenges where multiple stakeholders will have varying and potentially conflicting priorities.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing across multiple shifting priorities.

Proven track record of leading through influence and delivering persuasive presentations to senior leadership.

Comfortable in a performance-based environment

Demonstrated ability to be productive in a fast-moving environment where coping, tolerance for ambiguity and common sense is required.

Demonstrated success showing commitment to team accomplishments as well as individual responsibilities.

Strong analytical, organization and interpersonal skills.

Strong oral and written communication skills.
