In the role of a Geographic Information System (GIS) Intern, we'll count on you to:
Gain real-world experience on exciting projects by applying standard engineering techniques and procedures developing and implementing geospatial and data visualization solutions for clients and projects across transportation, water and resources business groups.Support field data collection using mobile GIS/GPS equipment.Work under the guidance and direct supervision of a senior-level GIS analyst to assist with spatial analyses, preparing maps using ArcGIS, performing data input and editing of spatial and tabular data using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals' programs.Perform other duties as needed.Preferred Qualification
Prefer 2+ years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA.Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry. This would include GIS, AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling platforms.Preference given to local candidates.Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering programAttention to detailPossess strong problem-solving and communication skillsBasic Microsoft Office skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
