Position summary:

The Vice President of Global PR will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our PR Strategy to elevate our brand perception and strengthen our relationships within the fashion industry. This will include supporting the relaunch of our collection line and runway show, as well as advising the development and implementation of public relations programs and cross-function of all PR activities for our diverse product categories. This strategic role involves supervising PR and influencer marketing to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth. You will help shape the public’s perception of our company by driving and supporting the building of our global PR strategy through storytelling in earned media. The role demands a creative leader with a deep understanding of the fashion landscape, exceptional communication skills, and a consistent track record in building and cultivating relationships with key collaborators, including media, influencers, and fashion editors. We seek a self-starter who is motivated to inspire change and create impact.

Primary responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive global PR strategies that align with the brand vision for Collection, with a focus on the new Creative Director and Collection line.

Lead the creation, planning, and execution of PR initiatives in alignment with the company’s values and goals, in partnership with licensees and PR agencies.

Lead the planning and execution of Collection and fashion shows.

Be responsible for the strategic planning of influencer marketing programs to build brand advocacy and reach new audiences.

Build and cultivate senior-level relationships with premier media, fashion editors, influencers, and industry leaders to elevate brand visibility, credibility, and strategic positioning.

Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging and strategic alignment across all objectives, while continuously refining workflows and processes to drive cross-departmental collaboration and operational excellence.

Handle and facilitate press and licensee requests for press materials, serving as the key point of contact for communications strategies in all global markets for all product categories.

Provide strategic oversight of future PR development in North America, Asia, and Europe, serving as the key point of contact for communications strategies in all global markets for all product categories.

Supervise the ongoing reporting, tracking, monitoring, and analysis of PR initiatives and media coverage for effectiveness, driving these initiatives in relevant markets when agencies are unavailable.

Supervise industry trends and competitor activities to find opportunities for enhancing PR initiatives.

Support crisis communication efforts, ensuring the company's reputation is protected and messaging is consistent during complicated situations.

Qualifications & experience:

Experience:

Minimum of 15+ years of experience in PR with a substantial focus on the fashion industry and brand management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the industry.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Skills:

Proven experience developing and implementing successful global strategies

Strong network of media contacts and influencers.

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Consistent record of relationship management at a senior level.

Ability to lead teams through times of transformation

Strategic problem solver with a strong attention to detail that encompasses tactical execution.

Experience running budgets and analyzing campaign performance.

Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously and lead cross-functionally.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Self-starter with a proven track record to motivate change and create impact.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Works directly with the SVP, Brand Communications, and Culture on all matters involving the budget.

Makes critical decisions regarding our PR and Brand Experience Strategy

RESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY:

Have the ability to influence and be a keen negotiator to achieve global alignment to communications strategies while understanding regional nuances. Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to milestones. Be thorough and find the best solutions and develop methods to improve efficiency. Flexibility to adapt to changing trends of business and/or ad hoc projects.

Pay Range:$250,000 - $300,000

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
