Description

The Transportation Partner Experience team is seeking an Event Marketing Manager to oversee the planning and execution of expos across our largest programs globally. The ideal candidate has a proven history of managing large scale expos or tradeshows, is a strong project manager capable of overseeing multiple concurrent programs, and is passionate about creating impactful customer experiences. Your responsibility as the expo lead will include working with key business stakeholders to identify the right selection of exhibitors, collaborating with our creative team on application of visual brand identity to expo, partnering with agency teams to identify optimal floor layout and kit of parts, and working with individual exhibitors to design engaging and interactive booths that delight our attendees. This person will be able to effectively own their assigned remit while rolling up their sleeves and getting stuff done – no detail will be too small and they'll never say "that's not my job". They’ll obsess over details, anticipate roadblocks before they become issues, embrace ambiguity, and deliver results.

Key job responsibilities

Work across business teams to identify selection of exhibitors and produce proposal for executive stakeholder sign off

Partner with experiential agency to design an engaging and immersive expo space

Work with internal creative team on application of event brand to expo assets

Partner with Event Lead to ensure expo integrates seamlessly into holistic event experience and is represented in all event marketing collateral as appropriate

Project manage the development and collection of assets across all exhibitors against a strict timeline

Work with individual exhibitors to ensure all booths meet a high experiential bar

Work through staffing plans with all exhibiting teams to ensure event is fully resourced

Serve as internal lead for all expos reporting out on status of programs and providing all post event reporting and analysis

Ability to manage multiple concurrent programs, juggle competing priorities and ensure all deadlines are being met

Actively look for ways to improve process efficiencies and effectiveness

Support on-site execution of events. Ability to travel for onsite event execution and work across time zones.

The Transportation Partner Experience team (TPX) builds innovative and engaging community-focused products for external Amazon partners like Delivery Service Partner (DSPs). Small businesses are critical to many aspects of Amazon’s ecosystem and the TPX team helps these partners be successful by fostering community connections, accelerating learning opportunities, and providing customer feedback mechanisms on program and product initiatives and updates.

Basic Qualifications

4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

2+ years managing expo or tradeshows for large scale events

Preferred Qualifications

Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
