The Director of Marketing Insights & Analytics plays a pivotal role in crafting and executing the marketing analytics roadmap for the Central Marketing team. They drive alignment between Central Marketing, Business Unit (BU) Marketing, and North America Sales, enhancing the organization's analytics capabilities and impact. This role includes developing and managing a high-performing team, delivering actionable insights to optimize marketing strategies. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a passion for building analytics capabilities, leveraging data for business impact, and a proven track record in leadership. This high-visibility position is crucial for driving significant order intake and revenue contributions to Philips' North America Region.
Your role:
- Demand Gen Strategy
- Develop and execute comprehensive demand generation strategies for lead acquisition, pipeline growth, and revenue generation.
- Segment target audiences effectively and tailor account-based campaign strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Performance Metrics & Analytics
- Own and optimize key performance metrics related to Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), including lead volume, quality, and conversion rates.
- Utilize marketing automation, CRM systems, and AI tools to track campaign performance and analyze results for continuous improvement.
- Manage programs, events, and campaigns effectiveness & ROI
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in B2B SaaS marketing.
- Marketing Analytics Agenda and Capability Building
- Develop and execute the central marketing analytics agenda.
- Enhance marketing analytics capabilities across Market & Customer Assessment, Pricing & Commercial Strategy, Product & Launch Performance, and Marketing Campaign Effectiveness.
- Collaborate with teams to identify skill gaps and foster a data-driven decision-making culture.
- Data Governance and Management
- Ensure clean, integrated, and compliant IB & external data for Central Marketing functions, BU Marketing, and Sales Operations teams.
- Maintain a roadmap for central data needs and collaborate with IT and data teams.
- Collaboration
- Understand Central Marketing, BU Sales & Marketing analytics agendas and support initiatives with data & insights.
- Engage with Central Marketing, BU and Sales Leaders effectively.
- Promote data-driven decision-making and continuous learning across the organization.
- Team Leadership and Development
- Lead a team of marketing analysts by providing strategic guidance and support.
- Recruit, coach, and develop team members to foster a high-performance culture.
- Enable a diverse workplace conducive to achieving organizational objectives.
You're the right fit if:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Marketing with an Analytics focus or concentration, or equivalent discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in data, analytics & insights within a large, highly matrixed organization.
- Proven experience in building marketing analytics capabilities.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, including defining roles and responsibilities, mentoring, and leading a diverse team in a highly matrixed organization.
- Ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
- Solid understanding of commercial business and industry standard data sources such as Definitive Health, IQVIA, Optum, Symphony, etc.
- Experience driving the integration of analytics into decision-making processes across a marketing organization.
- Ability to contextualize data within the broader business environment and provide insights that drive strategic initiatives.
- Proven ability to engage stakeholders, develop comprehensive project plans, mobilize teams, and deliver outputs on time.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to present data insights clearly and compellingly to non-technical stakeholders.
