Primary Function:

Our University Internship Program begins June 2025 and is 10 weeks long. The program provides qualified students the opportunity for professional development by building relationships, gaining corporate experience, learning about our industry, and preparing students with the experience needed to have a rewarding career at our organization. The ideal candidate can see the big picture in any situation, has an entrepreneurial and process improvement mindset and can handle any situation with composure and empathy. We're looking for assertive, well-spoken, and compassionate students who are dependable, service-minded, and results-oriented.

The Marketing Intern will be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of our Brand and Creative Team. Our intern will be responsible for assessing our brand positioning, doing a competitive analysis and proposing campaigns and initiatives that can strengthen our brand presence.

Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop a detailed understanding of our customer base, and strategies and tactics we use to market to customersCreate presentations of data and translate research into easily readable content for stakeholders and other departmentsUnderstand the competitive and marketplace environment of our businessCreate and execute the external communications for servicing on all new collateral updates and enhancements.Performs assigned duties, under direction of experienced personnel, to gain knowledge and experienceReceives training and performs duties in several functions in order to become familiar with line and staff functions, management viewpoints, company policies, and best practicesObserves experienced team members to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental dutiesWill be required to attend company sponsored training classes, activities, and eventsBuild relationships with employees and colleaguesEducation and Experience Requirements

Currently pursuing a four-year college degree with a scheduled graduation date between Fall 2025 and Spring of 2026.Degree in Marketing or Communications preferred.Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements

Highly developed organizational and project/time-management skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities and meet multiple deadlinesExcel in a team-oriented, collaborative environment while contributing to the creation, design, and implementation of value-add business strategies that affect current operating practices and company policy.Be able to clearly articulate and present ideas and findings to a varied audience, including the operations staff and senior leadership.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in quantitative analysisAbility to adaptWillingness to learnAn entrepreneurial business mindsetStrong business communication skills with an ability to work well in a collaborative environmentStrong attention to detail and an ability to multi-task and work well individuallyUnderstanding of multiple brand structure and rules to enforce uniformityExperience with Canva, HTML, and Adobe are a plus
