Read the overview of this opportunity to understand what skills, including and relevant soft skills and software package proficiencies, are required.A successful Executive Assistant will have strong organizational abilities, be able to engage and support development activities, lead and/or support team projects and workstreams, and act independently. They will provide key administrative support to the Senior Vice Presidents of Alliance Development and Policy & Advocacy Communications for their respective teams. Responsibilities include calendar management and scheduling, organizing meetings and development activities in support of department priorities and goals, special projects, and ACS CAN and ACS events support.

This is a REMOTE HYBRID role at our Washington D.C. Advocacy Headquarter office. This role will be home based with a minimum of once a week onsite. Flexibility to go onsite as needed is preferred.

Major Responsibilities

Manages leaders' daily and long-term schedule (set appointments, schedule meetings, set travel, prepare event and conference briefing notes, issuing and responding to invitations, follow-up with contacts, correspondence, etc.).Direct responsibility for providing the administrative support necessary to achieve organizational goals and objectives including submitting, navigating and facilitating approval of expenses, costs, budget information, supplier/vendor requirements, contracts, SOWs, etc.Provide project assistance for administrative, development and team operations, and ad hoc projects.Provide support for respective teams including scheduling, organizing files and documents, etc. Keeps appropriate and organized files and records and prepare reports as required.Develops a strong understanding of operations and objectives to support the achievement of mission and development goals.Provides engaged and professional support to staff working with the respective teams; organize and support events, meetings and activities. Provide support for donor stewardship engagement, outreach and follow-up.Enter and maintain tracking of development activities in CRM/Salesforce, review SF reporting and pipelines, and track reporting against targets and goals.Prepare, organize, update and maintain marketing and informational presentations and other marketing and branded collateral.FORMAL KNOWLEDGE

Associates degree or a combination of education and work experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.2-4 years of progressively responsible administrative, executive and development support experience.Other Skills
