Yorktel is currently seeking a Studio Technician who is proficient in routine television operations to include, but not limited to lighting, audio, set design, production, and camera operation both in a studio and field environments. The Studio Technician must also demonstrate oral and written communication skills appropriate for a professional work environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:Responsible for post-production processes, from offline to online to finishing videos, including color correction, color grading, and ensuring all broadcast standards are met under SMPTE and REC 709 rules.Oversee projects from beginning to end, managing all milestones, including research, script writing, location scouting, talent selection, crew selection, securing permits and licenses, equipment requirements, filming, set safety, and post-production.Study scripts to become familiar with production concepts and requirements, collaborating with subject matter experts and reading relevant white papers.Assist in the development of scripts and storyboards for public and agency videos, as required.Edit and animate motion graphics packages to meet customer messaging requirements, utilizing industry-standard programs like Adobe Creative Cloud tools.Prepare media files for multiple platforms using encoding and compression techniques to meet platform specifications.Manage media storage and retrieval, ensuring all digital files are saved and cataloged for project operations, delivery, and long-term archival using customer's digital asset management resources.Maintain a high level of knowledge of current and emerging software, motion graphics, design techniques, and technologies.Apply story development, directing, cinematography, and editing to create compelling content that conveys the intended story and message as per the script and direction from producers/directors.Maintain a professional demeanor at all times, including interactions with crew, talent, customer executives, and other guests.Remain organized, flexible, open to change, able to work under pressure, and possess strong communication skills (both written and verbal).Experience with studio operations such as teleprompter operation, camera operation, and lighting is a plus.

Education & Experience:

Shall meet one of the following minimum requirements:Have 10 years of experience as a Studio Technician orHave a Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field of expertise, plus 4 years of experience working in a studio or broadcasting environment

Additional Requirements:May require occasional lifting to 25 lbs.Requires extensive sitting, standing, and walkingDomestic travel requiring multi-night stays within and at times outside the local work areaValid Driver's LicenseValid Passport: International Travel may be requiredMust be willing to complete background checks and drug tests as required by current or future contractsMust be willing to apply for security clearances, suitability, and other related clearances to be able to work at certain customer locations.
