About Layne’s Chicken FingersLayne’s Chicken Fingers, founded in 1994, is all about keeping things simple and doing them right. We shoot straight, and we take our food seriously—ourselves, not so much. We’re a little quirky, a little weird, and a lot passionate about what we do. We’re expanding quickly, and we’re looking for someone who shares our love for chicken and community to help us grow our online presence.

Position SummaryWe’re looking for a Social Media Manager who can bring the Layne’s spirit to life online. You’ll be the voice behind our social channels, creating content that makes people stop scrolling, laugh out loud, or crave our Soon to be Famous Chicken Fingers. If you can craft posts that make people say, “Did they just say that?” or “I need Layne’s in my life right now,” then you’re the chicken we’re looking for.

Key Responsibilities

Social Channels Commander:

You’ll oversee all our social media accounts with the finesse of a chicken crossing the road—confident, a little sassy, and always on a mission.

Content Concoctor:

Dream up, create, and schedule content that’s as fresh as our chicken fingers. Think posts that make people hungry, laugh, and question whether a chicken really can wear a space helmet.

Community Egg-citement:

Engage with our followers like you’re chatting with old friends. Respond to comments, messages, and make sure everyone feels the Layne’s love.

Campaign Brainstormer:

Team up with our marketing crew to cook up social media campaigns that align with our larger-than-life brand goals.

Marketing Calendar Guru:

Help shape the overall marketing calendar to ensure social media is in sync with our goals and latest promotions.

Analytics Ace:

Keep an eagle (or chicken) eye on social media performance. Share what’s working, what’s not, and suggest what we can do to make people crave our content—and our food—even more.

Trend Detective:

Stay ahead of social media trends. If there’s a meme, trend, or challenge that’s hot, you’ll know about it.

Collaborative Clucker:

Work with other teams to make sure our social media game is as strong as our seasoning blend.

Qualifications

Experience:

2+ years of experience in social media management or a related role with a proven record of creating fresh content and growing engagement.

Social Media Savvy:

You’re a pro on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and anywhere else people gather to scroll, swipe, and double-tap.

Wit & Humor:

Your writing and editing skills are sharp, snappy, and always on-brand.

Creative Chops:

You know your way around basic graphic design and video editing tools to whip up content that looks as good as our food tastes.

Adaptability:

You roll with the punches and can pivot faster than Astro Chicken dodging a space rock.

Communication:

You’re a strong communicator, both online and off, and can deliver a message that resonates.

Attention to Detail:

You’ve got an eye for what works and what doesn’t.

Team Player:

You work well with others and can handle feedback like a pro.

Travel:

Ability to travel up to 25% (we've got a lot of Grand Openings coming up!)
