Hulu is seeking a Publicist who will be an outstanding addition to our Hulu Publicity team. You will play a fundamental role at Hulu by serving as the primary foundation of support in the promotion and marketing of Original Series, Documentaries and more as they arrive on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally. This position is front-and-center in the ideation, strategy and execution of publicity campaign launches, initiatives and events with a focus on international. The right person for this role is energized by working in a fast-paced creative environment and possesses a strong ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently while prioritizing and following through on vital department projects and directives. This person should have strong writing and organizational skills, a robust attention to detail, existing knowledge of key industry press and a finger on the pulse of entertainment and pop culture. If you love television and film as much as we do, have a passion for the entertainment industry, international cultures and attack every single day with a ‘can do’ attitude, a ONE TEAM mentality, and a hunger to continuously improve, then we at Hulu can't wait to hear from you!Primary Responsibilities:Manage PR campaigns for assigned projects from development to implementation, with oversight/guidance from managerWork with manager and stakeholders to identify new PR opportunitiesCollaborate and communicate plans with internal cross-functional teams and international teams including marketing, creative, social etc. on initiatives and global alignmentAssist with areas of specialty focus (e.g. festivals, development, TCA, Upfront, etc.)Track media coverage and gather media recap reportsProvide light assistance with department management and planningCoordinate talent schedules and handle logistics for publicity tours and press junketsDraft and manage press materials (i.e., PR strategies, loglines, bios, press blasts and announcements, etc.)Aid in event planning and execution for industry and company events including potential evenings and weekends.Schedule and facilitate talent interviewsCommunicate campaign plans to international teams across the globe with clear, concise language, acknowledging different time zones.Manage requests from international teams (i.e., assets, strategies, talent interviews, activation approvals, screeners requests, etc.)Keep a finger on the pulse of entertainment and pop culture. Research industry trends and media opportunities, and maintain awareness of world events, and international holidays.Pitch interviews, stories, festivals and speaking opportunities in promotion of assigned projects.Communicate directly with external stakeholders and talent/talent reps to ensure alignment on publicity tacticsBasic Qualifications:4 years minimum experience in Publicity/Marketing at another platform, studio or agencyProven knowledge of how to facilitate a PR campaign from soup to nutsExcellent project management and organization skillsDetail-oriented with strong ability in written and verbal communicationOutstanding skills with Microsoft Suites, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Keynote, Google DriveAn understanding of, and passion for entertainment mediaONE TEAM attitude with the ability and desire to collaborate with people at all management levels, to strengthen cross-team relationships, and champion Hulu's business goalsRequired Education:BA required (in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related area preferred)

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $68,300 to $93,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
