What You Will Do

Forescout has an excellent opportunity for an experienced

Communications Director

to join our team. In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for crafting and executing both internal and external communication strategies that effectively represent our company's offerings and initiatives. This role will require you to work closely with various stakeholders, including customers, partners, investors, employees, and the broader public, to enhance our corporate reputation and visibility. In this role, you will

Develop and implement a strategic corporate communication plan that:Aligns with the company's goals, including demand generation.Increases overall brand awareness in our competitive markets.Highlights our leadership in network security while expanding the brand to include newer capabilities such as risk & exposure management, and threat detection and response.Work with US and international public relations agencies, collaborate with regional marketing managers, and establish clear objectives and KPIs to drive visibility and reputation.Contribute to internal communication strategies to ensure employees are informed and aligned with the company's mission, values, and goals.Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts to enhance our company's visibility and thought leadership.Oversee and support the creative services team (writing and graphic design) and social media activities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the CEO, Marketing, Sales, Product, Partners, Customer Success, and HR, to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with strategic objectives. Coordinate responses to ad hoc security events and opportunities for positioning.Develop and manage content strategy, including web content, blogs, white papers, ebooks, datasheets, and video.Measure and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies, initiatives, and KPIs, making adjustments as needed.Manage crisis communications by developing response plans and playbooks to protect and enhance the company's reputation in response to both Forescout-specific and industry-wide events.Efficiently manage the corporate communications budget.This role reports to Chief Marketing Officer.

What You Will Bring

At least 10 years of experience in marketing communications or related fields, with a strong track record in a B2B environment. Experience in the cybersecurity industry is highly preferred.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft and deliver clear, impactful messaging.Proven experience in modernizing, evolving, or repositioning a B2B brand.Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA is a plus.Strategic, tactical, and creative thinking with the ability to handle multiple projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across various teams and with external stakeholders.Familiarity with current trends, technologies, and methodologies in marketing communications.What Forescout Offers You
