In the role of Marketing Assistant, we'll count on you to:

Support management of workload demands of proposal managers and marketing coordinatorsAssist in research and prepare documentation to support proposal development (including quality management forms, resumes, projects, etc.)Assist with coordination efforts associated with meetings, events, and conference attendanceSupport development of engaging internal communications content (announcements, presentations, videos, webinars)Research and provide data management on various subject matters and information givenRecord important information accurately and conciselyCompletion of daily administrative and organizational tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the marketing department's activities and campaignsMeet strict deadlines both internally and externallyInterface with people both inside and outside the firm including clients and sub-consultantsAssists in the maintenance of the business development databaseProvide data entry support for managing our client relationship management and financial systems to inform reporting metrics and dashboardsHelp maintain accurate project and resume data in business development systemsMonitor client and industry websites for solicitation statusHelp deconstruct and file proposal and presentation material upon submittalSupport the development and publication of engaging digital content that reflects HDR's brand and elevates our thought leadershipAssist with monthly reporting of campaigns and marketing volumeSupport implementation of social media campaignsPerform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Creative Cloud applications, including InDesignA minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experienceProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointProficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications/suite, including InDesignDemonstrated "self-starter" with a history of completing projects with limited oversightAbility and desire to travel and engage with others in personFamiliarity with the AEC industry, plus if it is in WaterExceptional organizational skills along with strong data managementActive listening with the ability to record important information accurately, create meeting agendas, clear action items, and timelinesExcellent multi-tasking skills with high-level attention to detailAbility to work in a highly fast-paced environmentTime management skills: ability to meet strict deadlinesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills - positive outlook and attitudeEffective decision-making skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independently as well as in large group settingsWorks cooperatively with diverse teams, regional, department, national, technical managers and project staffAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustEnjoy working with different personality styles and management levelsFamiliarity with regional and local proposal submission requirements is preferred
