This position will be employed through Headway consulting firm working remotely throughout the US.We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Marketer to build our social media presence. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance our online presence, engage our audience, and drive brand awareness. This role requires collaboration with channel marketers and an ability to effectively communicate our brand's values and educational mission.Major Responsibilities:Develop and Implement Social Media Strategies : Design and execute integrated social media campaigns to enhance brand visibility and engagement.Content Creation : Create, curate, and manage high-quality content across all social media platforms.Analytics and Reporting : Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for growth.Collaboration : Work closely with channel marketers and other departments to align messaging and ensure cohesive branding efforts.Community Engagement : Foster a vibrant online community by initiating and maintaining meaningful conversations with followers.Trend Monitoring : Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices to keep our social media presence cutting-edge.Event Promotion : Leverage social media to promote company events, webinars, and launches.

Essential Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Proven Experience : 3+ years in social media marketing, preferably within the educational or publishing sectors.Strong Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a knack for storytelling.Analytical Mindset : Proficiency in using social media analytics tools to make data-driven decisions.Creative Thinker : Ability to generate innovative ideas and content that aligns with our brand voice.Collaboration : Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, Tik Tok) and their algorithms, as well as design and scheduling tools like Canva and Hootsuite.Commitment to Diversity : Enthusiasm for promoting BFW's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience in graphic design or video editing.

Hours:20-25 hours per week.

Pay Rate:Up to $50/hour, commiserate with experience.
