People of color, women, and LGBTQIA+ individuals are encouraged to apply.Role DescriptionWe are looking for an entry-level, part-time Graphic Designer with a solid aesthetic, great collaboration skills, and attention to detail to join our team in Seattle. This role will last approximately 3 months, with a 20hrs per week commitment expected throughout. This role will largely be focused on internal and marketing graphic design needs, but there will also be opportunities to collaborate with other designers and Strategists on client projects, depending on skill-set and project needs. This position reports to the Creative Director and will also be working closely with our Marketing lead. We welcome non-traditional paths into your current career: iF is full of people with unique backgrounds and experiences.Role and ResponsibilitiesCollaborate on the design and production of internal and client-facing deliverables including (but not limited to):

Marketing graphics for iF Case Studies, blog post graphics, internal company workshops, iF all-hands yearly meetings, and holiday gift swag.

Assets are mostly digital, but we do a small amount of printed deliverables throughout the year, so rudimentary print & production experience is welcomed but not required.

PowerPoint/Google Slides/Word/Google Doc presentation layouts and template designsInfographics and data visualizations (static and/or animated)Multi-page documents and reports (print and digital)Workshop and presentation materials (posters, environmental graphics, etc.)Graphic illustration

Work closely with other members of the design team to manage and maintain existing visual design assetsHelp to revamp and templatize internal assetsReview pre-press materials and place orders with print shopsPlay an instrumental role in growing iF's design capabilitiesBasic Qualifications1–3 years of experience as a graphic designerExcellent attention to detailAbility to take directionGood time management and organizational skillsEagerness to explore and learn new skillsStrong command of typography and layoutProficiency with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and IllustratorProficiency with Google Slides, PowerPoint, and WordExperience using Figma (or comparable UX tools like Sketch or AdobeXD)AfterEffects/animation/motion experience, and/or illustration skills are a plusPlease Note: this is not a UX visual design position. While iF does engage in UX work, this role will primarily be as Graphic Designer for the deliverable types listed above.Pay, Benefits, & Additional InformationAt Intentional Futures, we conduct iterative and extensive market research to learn what is considered a competitive pay for each of our roles. However, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. With this context in mind, the pay rate for this role is $30.00 per hour.This role is categorized as a Temporary Employee and is therefore ineligible for any benefits coverage offered by the company.Our staff are currently working from home full-time, but the ability to travel to Seattle-based office is preferred, but we are not able to offer relocation packages.
