Reporting to the General Manager, the Vice President of Marketing leads all strategic and tactical property marketing initiatives, including development and execution of profitable revenue generation campaigns, while driving innovation and enhancing the guest service and satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversees marketing direction and execution including establishing marketing plans and programs to ensure revenue generation and profit growth in coordination with other enterprise marketing departments.Oversees strategic plan and tactics, utilizing data and analytics to increase effectiveness, while adjusting to changing market and competitive conditions.Monitors, documents, and notifies the appropriate stakeholders of any challenges that may impact or jeopardize achievement of current and future objectives.Responsible for the development, monitoring and management of the annual property marketing budget and all related marketing expenses to ensure successful achievement of financial goals.Leads preparation of marketing strategic plan, identifying key customer segments including the development of promotional and special events calendars that deliver an acceptable ROIStays on top of customer and industry trends through competitive shops, market research, and other sources of data and insights. Ensures that property executive team is knowledgeable and aware of material changes in these trends.Works with Financial Planning & Analysis team to analyze all marketing campaigns, events, and promotions to ensure profitability goals are met.Innovates and constantly seeks to provide best-in-class guest experience through technologies and process improvements.Acts as champion for all on-property service levels across all guest touchpoints.Provides marketing support to all areas of resort operations including food and beverage outlets, gaming, hotel operations, and entertainment.Collaborates with Marketing Shared Values to ensure database marketing, customer reinvestment and analytics support Enterprise objectives and meet stated goals.Partners with Marketing Shared Values to ensure advertising, brand management, social media and PR efforts support Enterprise objectives.Monitors existing resort operations and liaises with Enterprise leaders to share best practices for marketing, guest service, hotel and casino operations (yield and optimization).Regularly reviews and recommends changes/revisions, to internal controls that relate to the Marketing department operations. Regularly evaluates all Marketing department policies and procedures for effectiveness and possible areas of improvement or efficiencies.Selects, trains, develops, organizes and motivates a highly qualified and effective team, capable of providing optimum staff support for the resort.Maintains high morale through support, appreciation and development of Team Members.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Palms policies and applicable laws.Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university in Marketing, Management or related field of study required.Master's degree is highly preferred.Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in consumer marketing is required.Minimum of eight (8) years supervisory experience in the gaming/hospitality industry is required.Equivalent combination of education and progressive, relevant and direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational/experience requirements indicated above.Experience in large-scale gaming/casino operations. Experience with locals casino in Las Vegas area preferred.Must be culturally competent and effective in a multi-cultural environment.Effective at presenting information and responding to questions and/or concerns from management, staff, customers, public groups, regulatory agencies, and/or Enterprise Leadership.Strong leadership and people management skills required with good motivational and collaboration emphasis; communicates change effectively, overcomes resistance and builds commitment.Demonstrates ability to communicate in a clear, friendly and positive manner with internal and external guests.Ability to obtain and maintain a Nevada gaming registration.Must be a creative innovator, strategic and thought thinker, planner, and executor and be able to successfully build or be intimately familiar with all enterprise matters.Experience in leading teams of all levels including influencing others in a highly complex enterprisePhysical Demands:

Work is performed in an office setting within the resort.Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.May be exposed to smoke.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.Constant contact with executives, department management, employees, and guests.Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions Lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.Eye/hand coordination.Use of standard office equipment.Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols
