MCA has an opening for a dynamic and versatile digital marketing and communications specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for a creative and organized individual who is passionate about marketing and communications and is eager to contribute to the success of the admissions, development, and community relations teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing social media platforms, executing SEO strategies, crafting engaging email newsletters, and producing high-quality videography and photography content. Additionally, this role includes content writing, website content management, administrative and event support.

Essential Duties

Social Media Management: Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance brand presence and engagement across various platforms.SEO/SEM: Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and search rankings. Work with digital advertising firm on advertising campaigns to generate awareness and admissions leads.Email Marketing: Design and distribute engaging email newsletters to our audiences, ensuring content is relevant and timely.Photography/Videography: Produce compelling videography and photography content for marketing campaigns and promotional materials.Content Creation: Coordinate with content writer to create content for various channels, including blogs, social media, and website pages.Website Management: Update and maintain website content to ensure it is current and aligned with marketing goals.Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and data entry.Community Relations: Provide logistical and promotional support for events that engage our community for retention, development, and alumni efforts.Supervisory Responsibilities

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as online communications, business, marketing, or English

Proven experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.Strong proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.Experience with SEO strategies and tools.Proficiency in videography and photography, including editing skills.Excellent writing and editing skills.Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and email marketing software.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Creativity and a passion for storytelling and brand development.Preferred Skills:

Graphic design skills and experience with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).Knowledge of analytics tools to measure the success of marketing initiatives.
