Marketing Lead Analyst,

Individual and Family Plans Small Group Segment -

Hybrid

ROLE SUMMARY

A key resource on the customer retention marketing team, this position will support the Individual and Family Plans, Small Group business unit with responsibility for developing and executing legally required customer communication campaigns. Working with the Segment Marketing Advisor, this position will partner with enterprise and business unit compliance teams to identify, develop and execute communications strategies and plans to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations across all customer marketing channels. This position may also be responsible for managing compliance and legal reviews of all materials. He or she will also be responsible for negotiating and/or resolving complex issues with internal customers and matrix partners using independent judgment and discretion. Finally, this position will have accountability for the development and execution of renewal and welcome customer communication campaigns that support our Small Group business initiatives.

The Segment Marketing Lead Analyst will have broad exposure to legal and regulatory compliance and the role of compliance in health care marketing, experience in managing the development and execution of marketing campaign plans, overseeing execution, and optimizing expenses. Traditional marketing competencies around effective messaging and brand alignment are critical. The successful candidate for this role will be a self-directed, proactive individual who brings a natural intellectual curiosity and appetite for action to the role and is comfortable with a fast-paced, rapidly-changing start up environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

:

Work closely with business, compliance and marketing partners to develop campaign strategies, plans and timelines.

Partner with the analytics team to develop and execute the campaign, as well as conduct post-campaign analyses.

Manage the production and approval process through internal and external creative and agency resources. This includes but is not limited to the development of briefing materials, evaluating copy and design, and overseeing the development and implementation of ideas across multiple deliverables and tactics to ensure consistency and adherence to legal and brand standards.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL OFFER THE FOLLOWING

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of progressive marketing experience

Experience leading and managing external creative agencies and production vendors

Experience with healthcare insurance regulatory and marketing compliance requirements

Strong cross-functional leadership and influence skills

Ability to work from a Cigna office 3 days a week, as requested by the business
