Main Sail is seeking a
UI/UX Developer
to support a leading data protection software company in delivering software enhancements for their product suite. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces across multiple platforms, ensuring a seamless and secure experience for users. You will work closely with developers and stakeholders to translate user needs into functional and engaging digital experiences.
Responsibilities:- Design and develop responsive user interfaces for web, desktop, and mobile applications, ensuring consistency and usability across platforms.- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to illustrate design concepts and guide development.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and product managers, to align design vision with technical implementation.- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and refine designs, ensuring they meet user needs and client expectations.- Implement front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks, optimizing performance and accessibility.
Experience and Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.- 4+ years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development.- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar, and experience with prototyping and wireframing.- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience using front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.- Familiarity with design systems, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles.- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex requirements into simple, user-friendly designs.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
