About the role
As a Multidisciplinary Design Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of our website, products, and services in the US market. You will collaborate closely with our US and India tech teams to provide valuable insights, design concepts, and user experience improvements.
What you'll do
Create high-fidelity design mocks using existing components in Figma and use them to present design solutions.Create and iterate wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.Demonstrate a strong understanding of design best practices and principles, such as user-centered design, responsive design, and accessibility guidelines.Collaborate with engineers, product managers, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure that design decisions align with business objectives and technical constraints.Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency in the design process.Qualifications and Education Requirements
Currently in your final year pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree in Graphic Design, User Experience Design, or a related field from a top school in the NYC area.Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Demonstrated use of design principles via portfolio: typography, layout, balance, proportion, rhythm, emphasis, and unity.Ability to develop creative solutions and designs under tight timelines.Available to work in-office on a hybrid schedule at our Manhattan location.Committed to working 20-30 hours per week.Prior internship experience preferredMUST provide a link to a portfolio that demonstrates strong concepts and execution.
