2024-25 Wheeling Nailers Photography Intern (Season-long)Reports to: Director of Marketing (Patrick O'Neill)Based at: 1110 Main St. Wheeling, WV, 26003 (Hybrid)This internship is unpaid.
The Wheeling Nailers are currently seeking a Photography Intern (Season) from October 15th, 2024 - April 15th, 2025 to assist primarily with content collection throughout the 2024-25 hockey season. Interns must be available for ALL home game days.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Assist with gameday content collectionPhotography and VideographyAdapt to gameday themes and presentationMust feel comfortable working on strict deadlines and time limitsDeliver final design products in a quick and orderly fashionCandidates should possess the following qualifications:
Required to supply your own cameraPursuing a degree in photography, videography, or related fieldAbility to work within a brand identity while also keeping things fresh, attention to detail, quick and efficient with execution and ideationAbility to quickly turn around photography/videography content at live eventsPreferred Technical Skills: Adobe Creative Suite (including: Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom)Preferred: Strong hockey knowledge/familiarity with the NHL and/or the Pittsburgh Penguins, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, or Wheeling Nailers
