About the role:

We're looking for a jack-of-all-trades-someone who thrives on variety and isn't afraid to dive into different projects. We prioritize a high bias for action over years of experience. If you've done something cool, like starting your own business, building a community, leading a unique project, or any other creative venture, we want to hear from you. (Yes, this means you should apply even if you don't have experience marketing at a B2B SaaS startup or if you're a recent grad.)

While our immediate needs focus on content creation and event coordination, you'll have the opportunity to expand into various marketing initiatives as we grow. At Proton, you won't be pigeonholed; instead, you'll have the chance to experiment, learn, and grow in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll collaborate closely with various teams to execute growth-driven strategies. This is a collaborative role where you'll have the freedom to bring new ideas to the table and the support to see them through. You'll be joining a small but impactful marketing team where your contributions will be felt across the company.

What you'll do:Content creation:

Develop and execute a variety of content, including blog posts, thought leadership articles, customer success stories, and eBooks that resonate with our target audience in the distribution industry. Collaborate with our CEO and other leaders to create compelling narratives that highlight Proton's value.Event coordination:

Plan and manage Proton's presence at industry events, trade shows, and conferences. Handle all logistics, from selecting events to coordinating schedules and managing pre- and post-event engagement strategies. Occasionally, organize smaller satellite events to deepen relationships with key stakeholders.Campaign management:

Develop and execute nurture campaigns that engage and convert leads through targeted email marketing and social media efforts. Leverage data to refine strategies and improve results continuously.Project management:

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and marketing initiatives align with our business goals. You'll have the flexibility to pivot and adapt as new opportunities arise.Emerging opportunities:

We're looking for someone in the greater Boston area who is open to a hybrid schedule-3 days in the office per week. This role will require occasional travel to visit customers and prospects in the field, and to attend trade shows and events.
