About This Position
We are looking for a UI Developer to join our growing team!
Our ideal candidate is curious, always looking for new ways to solve problems, and has the aptitude to implement complex technologies quickly and effectively. In addition, you are collaborative and can make a well-rounded contribution to the team.
You will design, build, and support intuitive, easy-to-use cross platform, browser-based interfaces. The UI Developer position is accountable for the delivery and support of user interfaces that deliver secure, accessible, compliant, easy to understand experiences that interact with Bitwerx data. Responsible for managing and maintaining cross platform browser consistency and support. Using UI/UX best practices to ensure modern, consistent interfaces.
Start off at the end of 2024 by supporting an existing application in Angular. Work to redesign the solution in 2025 by collaborating with teams using your sense of best-in-class UI design and platform. This is an exciting opportunity to build a frontend for manual and machine learning workflows.
This is a full-time position out of our Lexington, KY office and can be on-site, hybrid, or remote. If remote, you can expect to visit the office for new hire orientation and typically for team meetings once a quarter.
What You'll Do:Develop and support browser-based user interfaces for products used by clients and internal teamsBuild storyboards to conceptualize designs and convey project plans to clients and managementMonitor trends in UI development and advocate for technology standards and best practicesCollaborate with management, commercial, product, and development teams to understand and achieve company objectivesEnsure compliance with data governance and security policiesWhat We're Looking For:
Proven experience in React, NextJS, AngularSolid opinions and experience regarding frontend frameworks and styling approachesUX process, wireframing, and prototyping skillsUI interactions with REST APILong term support and maintenance of frontend applicationsExperience with cloud-based data technologies (Azure preferred)Experience with source control tools (Git preferred)Working experience in Agile Scrum environmentsA passion for learning and keeping up to date with the latest tools and technologiesA strong work ethic and attention to detailBonus points for:
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subjectProficiency in many popular Javascript frontend frameworksExperience with Azure Active Directory authenticationExperience with Microsoft Blazer and C#Experience in support and user documentationExperience in dental, logistics, hospitality, or other vertical marketsWhat We Offer:
