The VP, Director assists with planning activities for complex or large spend campaigns and is responsible for generating strategic insights while driving learnings across the full suite of the client’s activities. The VP, Director serves as the escalation point of contact for clients and internal teams and will work in close partnership with clients, media partners, and strategy and investment teams.While providing senior-level thought leadership on audience strategies and campaign optimization, the VP, Director builds strong relationships and establishes clear lines of communication with agency partners and the client services team alike. They assist with all campaign activity and deliverables for the team and facilitate the training and development of the team.Responsibilities:

Manage, train, and develop a team of experts, including Directors and Managers, that own programmatic execution of client campaignsAssume accountability and ownership of campaign execution for assigned client accountsProactive & consistent communication with clients & liaise with strategy, planning, analytics, data architecture, etc. to run point on all digital activityGalvanize, motivate, and inspire across the Agency media teamsDemonstrate collaborative, confident, and persuasive client management skillsDirect & assist with the daily workflow of all programmatic campaigns, including proposal development, campaign activation and maintenance, and post-buy recapsProactively communicate with Agency media teams to respond to RFPs, build strategic campaign plans, communicate service offerings, and identify and deliver new solutions in a collaborative fashionReview client deliverables for quality, ensuring that recommendations and work product are sound and viableUnderstand and effectively communicate the Programmatic team's value proposition, technology, and processes as related to the growth of current and prospective agency accountsParticipate in forecasting exercises for senior managementEmbrace and encourage a culture based on teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosityAdopt established account management standards and program management best practicesMinimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred, preferably in marketing, advertising, business, engineering, statistics, economics, sociology, or equivalent10+ years of experience in programmatic media with increasing levels of responsibility7+ years of people management experienceWorking knowledge in technologies such as The Trade Desk, DoubleClick Bid Manager, TTD, AOP, AAP and Facebook and Twitter APIsStrong analytics, organizational, and communication skillsClient-facing experience with the ability to identify risks and effectively manage through issuesProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience in applying social marketing to brand-building & direct response initiativesStarcom is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
