Hockey Operations Internship (Video)

The Iowa Heartlanders professional hockey team is looking to add Video Interns to our team for the 2024-25 season. This is a part-time position with hours that will fluctuate week to week based on number of games and whether the team is at home or on the road.
Duties/Responsibilities :
1)Cut video of previous games and for future opponents using Catapult and InStat software programs.
Director of Hockey Ops will provide all necessary software training2)Operate video camera at practices and games
3)Record statistics and complete statistics-related projects for the coaching staff
Face offs, scoring chances for and against, hits, shots, turnovers, puck possession zone entries, zone entries by dumping the puck into the opponent zone.Requirements :
Approximately 15 hours per weekWork in person at all 36 home gamesA willingness to learn and a passion for sportsPreferred Qualifications :
Prior hockey experience/knowledge is preferred, but not requiredPreference will be given to students who are eligible for class credit
