Job Summary:As a Product Designer, you will work with members of the Applications design team, as well as our engineering, marketing, and QA groups, from brainstorming through implementation. You will quickly grasp and distill complex matters into clean, understandable solutions. We need an effective diplomat with strong communication and organizational skills willing to prove themself within a company of talented individuals. The Product Designer is key to determining the future design direction of our consumer apps. We are looking for a visionary designer ready to take software applications for macOS and iOS to the next level. Our ideal candidate possesses that rare blend of interaction design, visual design, and prototyping skills.
Requirements and Qualifications:Degree in human interaction sociology, psychology, interaction design, visual design, or equivalentExperience designing desktop applicationsExpert knowledge of user-centered design principlesDemonstrable fluency with Photoshop, Illustrator, or other design toolsAble to do rapid prototyping in Flash and HTML5Complete mastery of macOS and iOS. Experience with iLife and iWork is a big plusOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsExcellent collaborative skillsComfortable working in a loosely structured organizationHighly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedulesBayside Solutions, Inc. may collect your personal information during the position application process.
