$103,000 - $111,000 per year depending on locationThis position plays a strategic role in articulating AVID’s marketing and sales journey for new prospective school sites as well as targeted retention sites. Working closely with our Region Leaders and Partner Engagement Managers, this role will execute on agreed growth strategies that require marketing leadership and execution. These priorities may include persona development, journey mapping, messaging design, process design, bringing best practices to the use of Salesforce.com for marketing and sales collaboration, and creating proposal and slide banks.What you will do as a Product Marketing Manager:

Lead the execution of growth strategies prioritized by Division and Partner Engagement leadership;Develop targeted segmentation plans to prioritize go-to-market plans at the regional and state level;Lead new, high-impact initiatives that positively impact growth, trust, and conversion;Lead cross-functional teams to collaborate on and problem-solve for improvements in how data and research is packaged for decision-maker consumption, representing Marketing on Business Intelligence report prototyping;Lead process design and improvements for marketing and sales use of Salesforce.com, including analysis of win/loss, and develop actionable strategies for enhancing our win ratios;Conduct research to understand customer personas, pain points, and needs;Provide customer and market insights to Sales, Professional Learning, and Marketing & Creative Services staff, through formal and informal research;Design lead nurturing and customer retention messaging journeys, and proactively measure performance;Design webinar programs and events specifically to drive conversion through the sales funnel;Provide messaging leadership to all touches in the customer journey, including back-office touches;Integrate marketing and sales processes for all key deliverables and provide training and guidance on use of new sales enablement assets;Support strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors;Travel as needed.Experience and Education:

Required:Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and leadership capacity to manage others in a matrix environment. Strong organizational savvy. Ability to know who plays what role in decision-making (RACI model);Evidence of strong communications and critical thinking in architecting presentations, marketing collateral, sales enablement, web pages, and product marketing;Demonstrated success developing and supporting a product or service to external audiences with clear, consistent, and quality messaging that assists in building a brand;Demonstrated success developing, maintaining, and growing relationships with schools and school districts is desired;Flexibility, adaptability and creative problem solving when faced with complex, intra- and inter- departmental communications as well as external partner initiatives;Ability to communicate and speak effectively when interacting with others or presenting information;Strong written communication skills with the ability to compose correspondence and reports;Self-motivated with proven success working in a collaborative environment.Allowable Substitutions: Any combination of experience, training or credential certification endorsement that provides the incumbent/applicant with the knowledge, skills, and ability required to perform the work, as determined by the AVID Center. Qualifying work experience, as identified by the Senior Director, Human Resources may substitute for the education requirement.Why Work With Us?
