Have you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.Digital UX Designers at Resideo are experienced hybrid designers, equally comfortable blending traditional UX and visual design skillsets with a high bar of quality and attention to detail. We are looking for someone with experience leading redesign and/or design efforts for large-scale B2B eCommerce platforms with a proven track record of measurable impact.You’ll be involved in all aspects of experience design, working with a small team to research, ideate, and design digital products and experiences that have a real impact on our customers and our business. Your projects will span from small—new features or optimizations of existing experiences—to large—a redesign of our customer facing websites—and you’ll be involved throughout the process from planning to launch. You’ll work closely with the Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to make sure all your work is grounded in strategy and drives measurable results.Job Duties:Focus on hands-on UI/UX design for digital products and servicesCreate wireframes, prototypes, and design specs necessary to guide development of product experiencesDevelop new design concepts, frameworks, and interaction modelsEnsure digital UX designs are compliant with relevant accessibility guidelinesCollaborate with internal and external teams on product strategy and requirementsCreate user flow diagrams, design annotations, and other high-level UX documentationShare work in progress daily and articulate design decisionsParticipate in and support user research initiativesHelp develop and maintain design systems and supporting documentationPartner with product managers on business goals, product roadmap, requirements, and functional needsEnsure the final product maintains a high standard through visual QA in collaboration with engineering.Ship, measure, and improve your designs based on quantitative and qualitative feedbackYou Must Have:6+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of relevant UI/UX work samplesExperience designing large-scale B2B eCommerce platformsUnderstanding of Accessible design principlesFluency working with the latest design and prototyping tools (specifically Figma)Experience creating, using, and/or managing design systems with proven understanding of responsive web & mobile application design and wireframe developmentWe Value:Experience with user interface design patterns and standard user-centered design methodologiesAbility to distill complex problems into simple and effective solutionsBackground in or exposure to various user research methodsStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsTeam player mentality with the ability to give and receive constructive feedbackIntuitive design instincts with the ability to track into research-driven processesAbility to self-manage and maintain momentum in times of ambiguityThoughtful, systematic, and highly organizedExperience collaborating with cross-functional teamsExperience working in agile and lean methodologiesWhat’s In It For You:Resideo is a large matrix organization, so this is a great opportunity to hone your skills around driving results across cross-functional teamsThe opportunity to collaborate in a diverse, large organization while gaining a depth of knowledgeEnjoy work-life balance with generous vacation time that can be scheduled with manager approval based on business priorities and personal needs, without pre-set maximumsImmediate eligibility for Resideo benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision insurance, and 401KThis position is not eligible for US visa sponsorship.
