Make sure to apply quickly in order to maximise your chances of being considered for an interview Read the complete job description below.Dynamis is seeking a Junior Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) to provide leadership training and instructional design support services for a major U.S. Federal Government agency. The ISD will provide support on curriculum design and development, executive education and leadership development, training assessment methodologies, instructor and student evaluations, traditional and alternative training delivery methods, and instructional training aids development.

This position requires in-person attendance at least 4 times a year in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate the review and development of instructor-led training products.

Facilitate material review with SMEs and stakeholders for assigned training products and continually monitor products for appropriateness, accuracy, and completeness.

Recommend improvements to existing training content and delivery, and manage configuration of courses to improve business processes and effectiveness of the agency’s training mission.

Draft training project plans and course design documents, develop status briefs for assigned courses, prepare agendas and document meeting minutes, and facilitate curriculum working groups.

Conduct initial planning and analysis through design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages.

Provide technical review of assigned client curriculum products for adherence to standard design, development, and evaluation principles.

Facilitate continued development, coordination, configuration management, and evaluation of client’s training curriculum program.

Propose training policies to strengthen, facilitate, and integrate executive training with on-the-job leadership training.

Provide recommendations on instructional strategy, course development, review work for assigned courseware products, and adhere to client’s course review schedule.

Works both independently as well as with a group.

Schedule and coordinate leadership events from start to finish.

Facilitate sessions on an as needed basis.

Ability to attend in-person sessions at least 4 times a year.

Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship.

Obtain and maintain Government Suitability as required for this position

BA/BS (Master's degree preferred)

Minimum of five years of documented experience in design, development, implementation, and evaluation of instructor-led courseware, preferably in support of leadership training initiatives.

Knowledge of enterprise leadership principles and experience with strategy development and implementation.

Training and curriculum development expertise, and ability to ensure the design and development of new training is consistent with accepted ISD processes and standards.

Knowledgeable in training, coaching, and teaching in support of leadership development, guidance, and education in a national security, federal law enforcement, or U.S. military environment
