It’s time for a career you can be proud of.Principal IS Business Analyst – Global Development Operations What you will doIn this vital role you will join the Clinical Study Planning, Design Optimization & Startup Product team within the Global Development Operations – Digital, Technology & Innovation (GDO-DTI) organization. As a Principal Business Analyst, you will be responsible to collaborate with potential users, shape the vision based on their needs, and transform requirements into secure and reliable software solutions.As a member of this team, you will collaborate with multi-functional DTI organizations, Enterprise Platform Teams, and Amgen’s Global Development Operations teams to define and manage delivery of new features and functions within Amgen’s technology ecosystem to enable business growth, customer engagement strategies and ensure access to our products. We are looking for a Principal Business Analyst with a proven versatile ability, including technical savvy and excellent learning agility with the ability to lead innovative solutions in the Clinical Trial Execution landscape. The Principal Business Analyst will demonstrate the combination of prior experience, problem solving skills and client engagement skills to drive business strategies to successful outcomes.Responsibilities Include:

Lead and be accountable for the Agile Product team and the technology capabilities required to support Clinical Study Planning, Design Optimization & Startup (CSPDS) Product.Be accountable for robust product prioritization and governance via PI planning with business and cross product leadership.As a lead member of the product team, build and manage the product roadmap and secure necessary investments; lead product TCO, budgets and forecasts.Drive a Product First attitude among the team and peers with a goal towards global expansion of the product’s capabilities.Drive an attitude of excellence in running robust, reliable, and secure software products following Amgen’s software development, operating procedures and change management requirements.Monitor, evaluate, and communicate product progress at each stage of the development lifecycle, including key decisions and issue escalation.Serve as the voice of the customer/client and the leader of the product team.Solve product-related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business commitments.Articulate the requirements with help of visuals - flow diagrams etc. where it makes sense.Drive external software product and service partners to deliver excellence.Develop and mentor the team for higher performance and individual career growth. Act as a role model demonstrating leadership behaviors.Serve as a SAFe coach for the team and mentor them in Agile product delivery; demonstrate and serve as a mentor for Lean-Agile Leadership.What we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. Doctorate degreeORMaster’s degree and 3 years of Information SystemsORBachelor’s degree and 5 years of Information SystemsORAssociate’s degree and 10 years of Information SystemsORHigh school diploma / GED and 12 years of Information SystemsPreferred Qualifications:
