JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Maaco brand is looking for a motivated, experienced leader who is data-driven and team-focused for a role as Vice President of Marketing for Maaco, North America’s Bodyshop. This Marketing leader will be responsible for the planning, creative execution, and launch of all retail marketing programs, campaigns, and promotions. You will act as project manager and owner from concept to completion – ensuring thorough leadership and communication with all team members every step of the way. Working across all Maaco departments and shared service departments to develop plans and solutions that drive business will be an important part to succeed in this role.

Position Overview:

The VP of Marketing for Maaco reports to the SVP of Revenue Operations and is responsible for leading all marketing talent, including a team of 12 current experts, focused on the following: franchisee support, overall media and digital strategy, marketing technology and analytics, as well as brand PR and communication. You will serve as the brand guardian and face of Maaco’s retail strategy while leading the development and execution of all Marketing projects, promotions, and performance analysis; partnering with other Senior Executives to make decisions impacting the performance of Maaco and Driven Brands. In this role, you will be working with department leaders to launch new programs and campaigns that help move Maaco forward, not only for marketing but for the business. Understanding data and analytics with all marketing programs that are being run is extremely important, along with being able to present in a clear and concise manner, the findings to senior leadership, middle management, and the franchise system.

You will be responsible for collaborating across the marketing team and cross departments to design campaigns, promotions, and multi-channel marketing initiatives that connect with customers to drive sales for Maaco and the nearly 400 independently owned and operated Maaco Franchise locations.

You will be responsible for leading a team of Marketing Directors, helping them grow, achieve benchmarks, and execute marketing programs at the highest level. Not only are the business metrics important, but you will be held responsible for hitting certain performance metrics for marketing throughout the year, as well as communicating these effectively to the team and to the franchise system.

Responsibilities:

Strength in multi-channel marketing strategy and executionManage and develop marketing team members to support franchisee relations, as well as support the execution of programs not only for marketing but the businessResponsible for planning and implementation of marketing campaigns; including quarterly promotions, cross-department, and marketing projectsLead marketing team, cross-departmental teams, and vendors to outline business and project goals, scope, resource needs, and timelinesWork with agency partners to create and deploy effective promotional campaigns and creative across digital and direct response tactics inclusive of paid search, paid social, programmatic display, programmatic audio/video, direct mail, radio, TV, and out-of-homeUnderstand weekly/monthly sales data to inform local marketing/advertising plans and provide recommendations/adjustments to maintain strong sales growth opportunitiesAbility to customize and tailor the strategy around proper segmentation, consumer testing, business performance, as well as communicate changes and pivots in a simple manner.Be influential in presenting and gaining support for plans across multiple constituents such as operations and executive leadership.Highly articulate in both oral and written communications, with the interpretive/analytical skills to convert charts, graphs, and research findings into a story appropriate for leadership-level audiences, as well as franchise owner and employee audiences.Qualifications:
