Ulla Johnson Inc is looking for a Production and Technical Design Intern to join the team!
Duties:Reports directly to Production Coordinator.Assists with various projects, including but not limited to: sample management, creating and formatting Excel charts, updating WIP, formatting linesheets, maintaining seasonal material composition chart, filing bulk fabrics and trims.Assist Studio Manager with incoming parcels.Prepare for production fittings by checking-in production samples as they are delivered, log arrival into WIP, steaming garments, filling pin cushions, etc.Help organize and maintain the production fit area, and sample closet.Create, organize, and maintain seasonal production fabric, trim, and linesheet binders from SMS to bulk production.Prepare and drop-off materials from our vendors in Midtown, including Jewelry packaging materials.Assist Studio Manager and Production Coordinator with packaging and coordinating outbound shipments.Assist Technical Design Team as needed.
Requirements:Fashion Design, Management, Production, or Technical Design undergraduate Junior/Senior or graduate.Strong computer skills. Knowledge of Adobe, Microsoft Office, and Excel.Organized and detail oriented.Great communication skillsTime management skillsAbility to work independently.Available 2-5 days a week from 10:00am-6:00pm.Garment measurement skills. Not required for applying, but a plus!

- Available 5 days a week (Monday- Friday) from 10:00am-6:00pm.
-Hourly Wage: $16.00/ hour
