Your RoleAs a

Technical Designer

at Gensler, you will collaborate with architects and designers to develop and coordinate design solutions through the construction phase. projects.You will work collaboratively with a diverse team to create innovative architectural designs and solutions, ensuring they align with client goals and market needs. This role involves designing spaces that enrich communities and contribute to client success, presenting design solutions effectively, and coordinating with various stakeholders including clients, vendors, and contractors. You'll be responsible for the delivery of high-quality design documents and actively contribute to project financial performance while maintaining productive client relationships.What You Will DoCollaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and deliver project solutions.

Design engaging spaces that meet client objectives and community needs.

Use freehand sketching and computer-aided design (CAD) to illustrate and present design ideas.

Coordinate with project teams, clients, vendors, and contractors.

Ensure technical quality and design intent in all project documents.

Participate in financial aspects of project management and client relationship building.

Assist in developing and organizing project documentation, including Revit-based construction documents.

Monitor and adapt the design process from conceptualization through construction.

Communicate effectively with all project-related parties and support project requirements.

Exceptional design talent with a passion for creative solutions.

Your QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

5+ years of professional experience, including experience in Mixed-Use, Retail, Urban, or Science Facilities projects.

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM360, Enscape, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

Knowledge of BIM, parametric design software (e.g., Grasshopper), building codes, and construction techniques.

Bi-lingual in English/Spanish and LEED accreditation are preferred.

Experience with global projects is advantageous.
