Our work is transforming how restaurants operate, making them more efficient and sustainable.What's in it for you:As a key player in our new division, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape its culture and direction.Impact the success of our innovative projects and help define the future of our product offeringsExperience the best of both worlds with this team at Ecolab: the agility and creativity of a startup paired with the stability and resources of a global leader.Our collaborative environment fosters innovation while providing the support and security you need to thrive.What you will do:Develop and maintain user-friendly web applications, ensuring an exceptional user experience and responsive designCollaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design mockups and wireframes into high-quality codeImplement and optimize front-end features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.jsEnsure cross-browser compatibility and resolve front-end issues in various web browsers and devicesConduct usability testing and gather user feedback to improve the user interface and overall user experienceWork closely with other developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow between front-end and back-end systemsLeverage latest technology to design scalable front-end architecture that prioritizes flexibility and speedParticipate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain code quality and consistencyCollaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverablesMinimum QualificationsBachelors degree and 5 years experience; or no degree and 9 years combined education and equivalent work experience5 years of experience as a Front-end Software Engineer or similar positionProficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in modern frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.jsExposure to UX/UI design principles and tools, such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XDStrong understanding of responsive design principles and techniquesExperience with CSS preprocessors like Sass or LessFamiliarity with front-end build tools and package managers, such as Webpack, Gulp, NPM, or YarnKnowledge of version control systems, particularly GitAbility to conduct usability testing and analyze user feedback to inform design and development decisionsNo immigration sponsorship available for this positionPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience with early-stage product developmentProven track record of deploying products in dynamic environmentsInterest in collaborating with partners outside of core team / organization (including SMEs in computer Vision AI)Desire to be in a fast-moving, agile environment with willingness to adjust quicklyOpenness to experimental approaches typical of tech start-upsWillingness to learn new technical skills and languages as neededExcellent communication, attention to detail, and teamwork abilitiesA trusted partner at nearly three million customer locations, Ecolab (ECL) is a global sustainability leader offering water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services that protect people and the resources vital to life.
