HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Creative Development 60%:Create unique and emotional art that is brand appropriate and capable of being manufactured, with direction from manager as needed.Develop gender and age specific art that displays originality in print/patternResearch trend to bring newness and fresh ideas to conceptWork with manager and team to understand feedback and edit designs appropriatelyProcess & Calendar 20%:
Work efficiently to meet deadlines and follow through on all projectsFollow and support all established procedures within Art DepartmentCross Functional Meetings & Collaboration 15%:
Attend hindsight and sample review meetings to gain insight on selling and production capabilitiesWork with Graphics, Design and Merchandising teams to develop cohesive line point of viewWE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:Must have:
Must have a portfolioDegree in Illustration, Fabric/Textile Design, or related field requiredBasic knowledge of color and trends, with the ability to apply that to artBasic understanding of techniques and materials for fabric printing and graphic executionAbility to effectively prioritize, multi-task and remain focused in a fast-paced environment.Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (3.2 GPA or higher strongly preferred) at time of graduationRequired to have graduated within 6 months of class start dateMust be able to start in the role full-time by June 2025Preferred skills and experience:
Possess strong working knowledge of Illustrator & Photoshop, basic color and layout skills as demonstrated through a portfolio of workInternship in Apparel Graphics or CAD Design preferredPossess strong communication skills, display a high level of professionalism with team members, and positive attitudeDisplay organizational skills and attention to detailOUR TEAM MEMBERS:
