The Senior Product Marketing Manager will lead the strategic positioning and messaging for the integration related Managed Services offering within the Business Network business unit at OpenText. This role is responsible for driving product marketing initiatives for a suite of supply chain solutions, primarily targeting procure-to-pay and order-to-cash business processes. The individual will define and execute cross-functional strategies to capitalize on opportunities in supply chain automation and serving as the expert voice to position OpenText as a market leader.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
Strategic positioning: Develop and articulate clear, compelling value-based messaging (VBM) and positioning for Managed Services offerings that resonate with target personas and align with OpenText business objectives. Implement and present messaging through all internal and external communication channels, including sales force training, partner communication, communication to analysts and press, presence at conferences, trade shows, and industry events.Content Development: Develop high-impact marketing materials, including product collateral, case studies, and thought leadership content, to support sales efforts and enhance market visibility.Market expertise: Serve as the market-facing expert, providing insights into supply chain trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy and marketing efforts.Opportunity capture: Define market requirements for products and solutions based on input from analysts, market, customers and sales.Work with product management to promote key product features to meet current and emerging market needs.Thought Leadership:Provide thought leadership and ongoing social media and communication both external and internal to OpenText.Demand-generating campaigns: Coordinate and lead marketing and lead generation campaigns, working with both global campaign team and regional field marketing to execute on and track success of the campaigns and related assets. Create and refine key marketing assetsSales enablement: Support sales force needs as the evangelist for the products and solutions and related markets. This may take the form of direct sales or prospect interaction.Analyst relations: Build analyst relationships to convey OpenText positioning and to understand market directions in the supply chain sector.Ensuring product launch activity is complete and coordinated is a critical function. While owned by Product Management, Product Marketing plays a key role and is responsible for many tasks and handoff points to ensure Sales readiness to sell. Any barriers or delays in deliverables can impact product introduction and ultimately revenue. Product marketing must take corrective action and work collaboratively with Product Management, Sales, and other parts of the business to ensure successful launches.The role will have global responsibility for their product portfolio, including campaign support and Sales enablement activities.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Minimum 12 years of professional experienceMinimum5 years of relevant B2B integration, supply chain related experience.Knowledge of key supply chain processes such as procure to pay and order to cash and awareness of therole of analytics in the supply chain are desirable.Minimum Bachelor's degree in supply chain, computer science, marketing or similar field.Strategic thinking and ability to define and pursue strategic objectives.Excellent english skills and affinity for writing.Proven ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing work product quality.ONE LAST THING:OpenText is more than just a corporation, it's a global community where trust is foundational, the bar is raised, and outcomes are owned.
