Web Content Administrator

Job Summary:

OncoLink's mission is to help cancer patients make educated treatment decisions, be active participants in their care, and be their own advocates. We provide up-to-date cancer information on the web, free of charge. In addition, we provide comprehensive e-learning programs to healthcare professionals via a learning management system. We are a small but passionate and collaborative team looking for a webmaster designer to join our team.In this role, you will collaborate closely with the writing team and Web Content Manager to manage the day to day running of the website, updating content through our CMS platform and Wordpress site, developing and maintaining our applications on OncoLink and within EPIC, and collecting and analyzing statistics and data collected through our apps. You will work closely with our web content manager, server team, and developer to oversee server maintenance and updates, infrastructure monitoring and problem solving on our platforms. No two days are ever the same in this role so you must be open to learning and adapting based on team priorities.Responsibilities:

Content Management System (CMS) management which includes:1. Support of CMS platform users.2. Creating training resources and related documentation for CMS and integrated platforms.3. Working in collaboration with third party vendors or web developers to troubleshoot technical issues, develop new workflows, create new platform integrations, etc.4. Serving as a point of contact for all collaborators on technical projects.5. Provide user and team support for EPIC application integrations.6. Ensuring content stored in the CMS is in the best state possible. This responsibility includes making sure that required data is supplied, and that periodic reviews and updates to content and system configurations happen as scheduled.7. Create and maintain applications within CMS using existing structure and algorithyms.Participate in assessing challenges or opportunities seen on the website and make innovative recommendations based on best practices.Manage URLs and redirects. Collaborate with health system teams to assure domain renewals and registrations occur on time.Manage team mailchimp projects and Wordpress sites.Support and work collaboratively with the Web Content Manager to execute projects and tasks needed to support the writing team.Closely coordinate with the front-end and back-end development teams to test changesopportunity to support front-end developers with overrides and troubleshooting.Create and manage data and analytics resources, report updated stats to the team. Produce reports as needed for research and marketing reports.Handle multiple projects and produce error-free work in adherence to deadlines with limited supervision; provide outstanding service to colleagues and clients.Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures.Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organizationEducation or Equivalent Experience:

Bachelor 's degree in technology, computer science/ MIS or related field.OR

Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field and 3+ years of experience working with a content management system and/or technical role.Skills & Abilities:

Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills with all levels of staff and personnel.Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and work within a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Ability to learn new systems quickly and an openness to learning new applications to support the team's work.Familiar with creating content in various CMS platforms.Strong understanding of domainMust be extremely attentive to detail.Analytical mindset to assess risks and issues with web requests and proactively identify and communicate solutions.A clear understanding of the mechanics of the Web (URL structure and the purpose of the different parts, client side vs. server side).Self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to define and achieve objectives with limited oversight if needed.
